The history of the Pleasant Hill Country Church began in 1841 with a Methodist class meeting in the john Buchanan home. The present church was established in 1854. The church became a part of the Perrysville Charge in 2023. It is now known as the Pleasant Hill Country Church.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believe in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
